    • The recall of dreams is extremely unreliable, though it is a skill that can be trained. Women tend to have more frequent dream recall than men.[33] Dreams that are difficult to recall may be characterized by relatively little affect, and factors such as , arousal, and interference play a role in dream recall.

A dream journal can be used to assist dream recall, for psychotherapy or entertainment purposes. For some people, as their head touches their pillow as they go to bed at night, vague images or sensations from the previous night’s dreams are sometimes spontaneously experienced. However they are usually too slight and fleeting to allow dream recall.

        • I had a dream last night where I was in my old childhood neighborhood and this guy walks up to me as I was exiting my car, I was taking my laptop out and he said to me give me the laptop, but I refused to then he says, no better yet I'm going to steal your car. I said to him no you're not, you're not going to steal my car. As I was walking away from him and my car to approach my friendsa home he walked away from my car saying to me I'm going to get that car. Later after exiting my friends home I came out to find my car was gone from it's place where I parked it, but the strange thing was I walked a few feet ahead to a house that had a hugh garage behind it and the guy was there with some others taking my car apart for parts its was a shop shop being ran out of someone's home garage so I looked for the thief as wel las the home owner, I told the owner I wouldn't press charges or report them if I got my car back in the condition it was in when it was stolen, she said ok made the guy who stole it repair my car and I got it back and left, the scene then I woke up. Uh that was something but don't know what it all means.

        • I would consider how much I value the car versus my life. We know some criminals are not that passive, they would much rather kill you than wait for you to go inside.

        • What are your movements before you lose your wallet. Who are you with. Do you ultimately find it. Do you have money in it.

In your everyday behavior where is your wallet carried, are you too trusting, examine your habits.

        • I dont remember what my movements are in my dream.  I do seem to recall that somebody steals my wallet.  I have many credit cards and I wake up in a panic thinking I better keep track of the cards and the numbers in case.  But I already have that information.  I have made copies of all my cards that I carry “just in case“.

I carry my wallet in my purse.

        • Hi Doreen,

First thought that comes to mind is identity, important documents like drivers license, credit cards, social insurance cards etc are kept in a wallet. Is there a fear of losing your identity or do you feel that you have lost a part of yourself?
