    • tongue out I am so angry I could spit nails! I don’t know what is wrong with some people that they live for power plays just to have them. Especially when there is absolutely no reason for I am no longer a threat to anyone in my old company.
So, to quickly fill in. I have yet to go clear my office 100%. I just was unable to do it emotionally or physically because well I wasnt getting out of bed unless completely necessary.
I’m now able to yet I’m hanging back alittle . ( first lay off of my life) anyway I spoke to my old asst. Manager and asked her to gather my items from my fridge down to my mouse pad.
Which she did with no issues. She had been my asst. Manager for 4 and a half years. She knew exactly what was mine.
So then she has two days off and the new manager that I trained and took over only 1 of my stores for only (omg) 10.35 per and no ot! She put it ALL back. Fridge, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, break table , awards with, here’s the kicker my name on them??? Really? And then it goes on right down to the extra bottles of bath and body works soap I bought for them to use. The lust is long after ten years.
Anyway, my old asst. Asked her why and explained she was asked to gather them for me.
Her boss said I had to prove it was all mine first!!! WHAT??
She informed my old asst. That I would need to show receipts for all the bigger item and try to prove the others were mine before I could get my things.
Of course I found this out late tonight so I can’t do anything .
Worse part every employee vouched explaining it was all mine. She said of course they would be loyal to me.
What is she attempting to gain? I’m not worried about me getting my belongings because I will.
But , why the drama and hoops? To embarrass me? To prove she has the power?
She can have it they are paying her 17.35 less than what I earned and I had mandatory ot of min 7 hours. So, I made 27.70 per and u think 10. 35 will temp me?
I’m not getting her motive? I’m not understanding her belittlement of me? Is it just so the employyees know who’s boss? If that’s the case my old asst manager is. And she is making 5 something more than her boss. ( means she could be laided off soon)
This is ridiulas and I’m speechless for a second then I’m really pissed.
Who the heck wants this much stress?
I will be there Monday at ten for my belongings. Like it or not now she will have to deal with me.
      I am so floored
      Really????

She’s always thought she needed to bully people into her way but that little chick a pee hasn’t ever dealt with a force like me. Especially when you want to play jealous power trips with someone who will chew you and spit you out if needs be .
I’ll fax Corp and my old dm a listing of items.
It floors me and makes her look so bad.
Grrr grrr why ? It makes absolutely no sence

        • Sounds like to me this gal is on one big power trip.  What a jerk! Go get her Cris....chew her up and spit her out.  You know...why do people have to be so freakin cruel.  I’m a firm believer in treating people the way YOU YOURSELF..would want to be treated. I’m also a firm believer that what goes around around will definitely come back to bite you in the butt. Don’t go in there over heated but cool and calm...and speak in a level that she will have to really strain to hear you.....sometimes that speaks more volume than a raised voice and it will help keep your own blood pressure ......down!! Let us know how this plays out.

        • That is really sad... She must truly be a miserable person inside.  Sounds like a lot of jealousy to me.

In situations like this it is often best to put your ‘ducks in a row’ before you respond.  If it were me personally I would make my list of items, get everyone in the office that will to sign an affidavit saying hey know they are yours and/or saw you bring them in.

Then I would send a professional letter to ‘her’ boss or corporate office (or both) as well as HR, saying your intentions as well as your obstacle with her.

Good luck with it and regardless, your health is more important that the ‘things’ so if the frustration, stress & anger of the situation creates more stress for you... just let it go and move on.

Look at this as a new chapter in your life.

          Love, Light & Blessings,
          heart Miss T heart

        • Ditto to what Mary said now go get'em but in a calm and dignified way. And remember: A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. Proverbs 15:1
A fool gives full vent to his spirit, but a wise man quietly holds it back. Proverbs 29:11

Also remember that it is God who will fight and win this battle for you give it to him lol; Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written , Vengeance is mine; I will repay , saith the Lord.

        • Well that sucks big time. No one keeps receipts past a few years, and she’s on a power trip. I wish someone would try that crap with me. What goes around, comes around so her time will come even though you won’t be there to see it. The affidavit sounds like the way to go, and even though you have her in your sight aiming with both barrels, just ease in there cool, calm and collected, get your stuff and wave at her like Miss America. The fact she couldn’t get a rise out of you will eat away at her, and those who remain will remind her daily in small ways how they can’t trust her and won’t respect her position. The joke’s on her.

        • heartheart ladies, I am sooooo calm. This is where I shine. Legally, morally, and professionally. She unfortunately will not. She will look like a spiteful, inept , unprofessional that she is.
It just so happens that my old Boss will be there at 10:30 so I’ll be there at 10:25am asking to get my items.
Now my old boss knew what I’d be coming back for due to the letter I had faxed on the 6th. He responded at anytime.
It will be interesting to watch her try to explain this.
And if by some fate he doesn’t come , Travis my sons best friend is off tomorrow and he’s L.A. P.D
So, the police are coming unofficially.
I have the faxed copy so the items are listed. Have a copy to leave and she will sign mine stating that’s all I took.
Case closed and either way she looks stupid

Is her own life that pathetic? That this is her way of showing off!
          It’s really desperate and sad.
          Hugs to all
          Cris

        • Got my things.
Just as she was telling me no I can’t have them because they were being used by the employees and I had no receipts my old DM walked in.
After greeting each other I asked when since April 4th had the company policy changed that didn’t allow managers to have their property back without receipts? I.e. Fridge, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker ... Ect...
He looked confused so I proceeded to explain that this was the second time I had been told by his new manager that without receipts and the fact the employees were using these I was unable to get my property. I even thru in remember the fridge u moved when we remodled? My old DM turned red then blue.... State of California laws are really stricter.
I have never seen him ever discipline someone in public till today and I no longer work there. Presure I guess. He was livid because I could sue. She cried. Lol
Sorry but no pity. I informed her infront of my old DM how unprofessional she was and it shows lact of respect for the company that pays her.
Anyway my old DM carried things to my car. He made three trips.
I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall after I left!!!
          Good memory lol

        • Her actions speaks to a bigger problem.  The problem is not you and until she figures it out she will not have peace.  Picking on you in this unprofessional manner also speaks volume of how she will perform and if she have to go around bullying and belittling to try and prove herself then she is worst off than you could imagine.

          It is pitiful.

        • I know it’s slightly childish and petty. Problaly since I got laid off and she’s part of my replacement. I got satisfaction out of it. They also have split my job duties up between four people to save money. Oh well. Time to move on. But heeheeheehee cheeky doesn’t even start with the satisfaction I felt.
