Since you’ve given up the worldly lifestyle for a life in Christ have you ever felt as though you didn’t have a friend in the world. And that no one seemed to care for you or about you? I remember when I first got saved my spiritual mother told me that once I decided to walk with the Lord not only was HE going to remove some people out of my life but others who wasn’t walking the same walk would fall away from me!

She said that walking closely with the Lord is a lonely walk, at first I didn’t understand what she meant, but now as I have matured in Christ I can see exactly what she meant. She shared her testimony with me to encoursge me because she is a great woman of God and is very blessed for her hard work and endurance never wavering in serving him. I know that the word of the Lord tell us in Joshua 1:5 that He will never leave us nor forsake us, but there are times when I feel he isn’t near.
We are also familiar with Prov. 18:24 where it talks about Jesus sticking to us closer than any brother. I in no way am disputing those words because I know them to be true and I trust and believe God and take him at his very words.

Its just that I’m finding what the word of the Lord speaks of and what my spiritual mom shared with me is all true the more the Lord elevates me the more he purges me of people and things that will hinder my works in him. Lonliness can be a good thing if we see it from God’s point of view, it gives us a freedom to hear Him more clearer as well as gives us more time to prayer and reading his word.
If we learn too that Jesus is carrying us even in our lonliness we’d see that we were never alone to begin with.
He loves us just that much even when we ourselves don’t run to him, he will come to us in our time of need.
He is a God like that! Because he loves us so much and never wants us to feel a sense of not feeling loved or cared for, but we in our stubborness still won’t run to him even when we‘re doing well.

If we begin to spend more time in the word of God and prayer we would know that we‘re never alone because his word tells us that and he is not a man and cannot lie, his word is truth! Spending time in prayer and reading the word of God brings us closer to GOD. So we are never alone. He said his word will stand forever. So if you‘re in the word and in Christ you‘re NEVER ALONE!
