I am four months from turning 49 and think I am starting the dreaded road to menopause. For the past few weeks I have experienced night sweats, dizzyness and periods of anxiety I have never felt before. I am starting to think I am going crazy! The anxiety hits at any given time and for no apparent reason. Does anyone else feel this too? What are you doing to control the nonsense? I am healthy, no issues in the past, take no medications and this is driving me insane! Being a man has never looked so good! :)

        • Lol! Yeah I have experienced all that..... Then it’s stopped and life goes on for awhile. Exercise and diet has been the consistent advice given.

        • I’m dealing with it too.  Stress makes it worse.

I make sure I take my multi vitamin and my vitamin D and like Vikki said, eating right and exercising help.

        • No...  I didn’t. But perimenopause is different for all of us. I still hot flash though menopause is over a decade old stuff, and I think part of that is the imbalance associated with my biggest health issue, the environmental toxic poisoning. I was perimenopausal before I was feeling all the effects of toxins. And I think my hormone levels just sort of fizzled out gradually without much effects felt? No emotional upheaval. We all experience it differently, and I think maybe some of it may be how we view it before we get there?

        • Wow.  I know what you mean!  The night sweats are the worst for me.  I hate waking up feeling like that and then coping with the following day on little rest.  Bah.  I don’t suffer from any anxiety, but often I am moody.  I’m thinking of buying a juicer and amping up my vitamin intake in a natural way. :)
