So I have decided to plant lavender in my yard to help deter Kitty Neighbor Love from using it as a litter box.
Should I plant anything else with it? Or just a variety of lavender?
Oh Vikki, my ex-neighbor has lavender in her yard and it smelled so good I never knew it detered cats! Maybe thats why I never saw them in her yard, I guess planting a variety could only help and besides its nice to pick some and place in your home as well as use for a drawer liner for smelling up your lingerie lol.

They spread and grow big... just make sure you give them enough room.

The only lavendar mentioned is lavendar oil... but I can see where lavendar would deter cats too... they‘re very fragrant
Unfortunately... a dog is the best deterent

How excting! I want to plant lavender bushes because my fiance and I Love the smell!
Cats are not too fond of rosemary and chives, but enough lavender should keep them from using your yard as a place to poop. You could place some catnip close to their yard to keep them from venturing any further. They may decide ooo, she put this lovely stuff here for us, we can go poop elsewhere LOL.
Lavender is also good to calm your nerves and help you sleep if you make a tea or infusion from the flowers. Can also place them in cheesecloth bags and put them in a hot tub of water when you want to relax.
Vikki let me know if it works. I’ve tried EVERYTHING!! I also have a huge rosemary plant where I plant my herbs and they still go there. Two weeks ago I finally put bricks in the beds where I haven’t planted yet to keep them out that way.
