Let’s talk clothes!
What is your favorite things to wear when the weather is transitional?
It will 71 today and to me that is a bit chilly for open toe anything. Yet too warm for boots.
I really do hate this time of year (and the summer/fall transition) when it comes to work clothes.
If I was at home today I would be in cuffed jeans, thin long sleeved Tshirt with a cami under it. And my run around flats.
But work.... ??

For me as a Michigander and Vikki you know it so well the weather here is tricky, but for the most part if I’m not at work which is a pair of black slacks and a burgundy polo shirt as a Med-tech, when I’m out and about its usually a nice pair of slacks with a nice crisp shirt and a nice light jacket to compliment my slacks and a nice pair of stillettos, and the bag has to match the shoes lol, and my jewelry is optional it depends on how I really feel but I will wear a pair of earrings.

Neicy I think thats why I still dress in layers..... Because of Michigan!
So if you and I were to be going out and about I think I would need to change my stay at home clothes to more of my work clothes.
Stilletto’s really????? For running around?????? WOW
I’m with you on the jewelry tho!

Vikki it kills me that since my illness that I have been humbled to wearing sneakers which is something I only wear for work and there only because it is a requirement, but I wear the Skecher’s Shape-Ups. I would only wear them if I were wearing a jogging suit and that was very rare as well I’m a dresser at heart thats just me! I was like that in high school too!![]()

I can’t wear stilletos, but I’ve got my “mid heels” and wedge heels. I’m with the jacket over a light top for the transitional weather. Make the jacket nice! For shoes there’s “booties” for a more dressy work look, or to dress up jeans.
Neicy, sneakers would humble me too. I have one black leather high top pair that’s good for working outside, or a quick run to the market because it isn’t so “public“. I’m a shoe lover... love the feminine, pretty shoes!

@Cathie, girl it is killing me that I can’t wear my heels. I have a very nice selection of them and my hubby is always threathening me that he is going to have a shoe sale lol, and say to him that will be the day your mother’s only son will come uo missing lol. Anyone who knows me always want to come and look through my shoes with hopes of gaining a pair I no longer favor or no longer wear NOT!!! I love them all lol. My oldest daughter has steeped in my foot prints when it comes to them too she wears the large plats with the 5 inch heels thats a bit much for me but she swears I can do it lol.

Transitional weather my favorite items to wear are my leather jackets, the lining is thin but not too cold or to hot in transitional weather
Neicy they make sneakers that look like flats.... Same comfort but cuter than sneakers....

@Vikki, I know and even with the flats my oldest daughter has sworn to choke me if I end up buying one of those hideous pair, I’m not too fond of the flats either don’t own any, but I am now considering them she has said she wants to be with me to help me make the right decision in choosing a nice looking pair lol.

We had such a warm day yesterday here in SE Pennsylvania, maybe high 70’s I think, I was so busy yesterday with yard work and our son and his buddy did lots of digging and excavating for me..but that is a whole different story..lol..as far as clothes, probably khaki pants, thin cotton shirt, jean jacket with a pretty scarf and my Skechers super snazzy sneakers with hearts on them.
LOL, Neicy... I’d be beating ‘em off with a stick if they were trying to take My shoes!
One of the first things I did as a newly almost divorcee was buy me some shoes! Boots, pumps, flats and sandals. No...body telling me my pretty shoes are a waste of money anymore! ;oD Of course I had to stop buying shoes for awhile, but I have a good choice now as the weather changes.
When I really like shoes I’ll wear them even when fashion mongers tell us they aren’t the latest style. ;oD
I’ve entertained myself on a slow day going to Amazon to look at shoes. My gawd...there are ugly and very expensive shoes! I like the Carlos Santa designs, but they‘re all too high for me. Such a shame.
