    • Sheets as often as I find a great deal I will buy new ones but I don’t use comforter sets so don’t change per say.  I have several really thick mink blankets we got overseas that we use & change out the color with every couple of months (whenever I am feeling a change).  Then I will use the hand crochet chenille afghan I made my husband for a topper in the cooler months.  Way to hot/thick for the rest of the year.

    • Yeah they are not really ‘mink’ just the name they call them because they are really thick and really soft!!  They sell something similar here in the US (usually roadside booths or flea market venders) but a lot thinner and not near as soft.

Beautiful Neicy... I do love some of the comforters out there but I am so addicted to my mink blankets I don’t know that I could give them up.

    • I’m going to want some changes because I’ll be going from a Ca King size to a double bed,
maybe queen if I find a good deal. Otherwise, it’s been awhile ... a few years.

I change the bedding from winter to summer so I don’t get much wearing out of sheet sets or bed covers.

    • I just bought new sheets last Saturday and put on a lighter bedspread.  Took off the flannel sheets (too hot now) and the heavy comforter.  I have several comforter and bedspreads that I change out periodically.

    • I buy a new set of sheets every time the bottom sheet wears out.  So I suppose every five years.

My bed is covered with vintage wool blankets (SO, so much nicer to sleep under than synthetic things that don’t breathe) and some of my quilts I’ve had since I was a child.  I guess I don’t spend much on bedding.

    • I’ve had my comforter and bed skirt about 13 years.  I have bought two new sets of sheets since then.  Basically I use them until I’m too embarrassed to look at them.  Same with towels!

    • I bought a new comforter/sheet set since I re-painted my bedroom recently...otherwise I have a new winter set, spring/summer set and a fall set for my bed and I don’t use dust ruffles as I have trouble moving the mattress around, it is a sleep number bed and very heavy to maneuver.
