    • After we married we took the two 14 year olds (one female, one male) to mexico.  It was ok.  I might do it again with just hubby.  The price sure is right though.

    • I’ve done 3 and they are fun.... always something to do if you always need something to do. Usually abundant food and usually good.

The excursions and beverages (pop and water included) are expensive. My last cruise cost me about $300 in beverages. The only free was coffee or tap water.

      I’ve done the carribean ones....

    • I’ve been on 2 cruises and highly recommend it.  The first time was a week long voyage to Alaska with my parents, sister-in-law and all the grandchildren.  Truly a fun time.

Then I went 4 years ago with just my daughter to Russia, Sweden, Poland, Finland, Norway and Estonia.  It was wonderful.  You’ve got so many options of things to do, or you can rest and catch up on reading.  There are websites where you can book last minute cruises at really good prices if your vacation time is flexible.

PS I get seasick so I just got my doctor to prescribe a patch and i was fine!

    • Went to Alaska and took the kids with us because we really don’t have an option to leave them with anyone.  It was fun and the 2 older kids (14 and 11) found friends right away to hang with.  My mother also came and it was a lot of fun and things to do if you want something to do or just hang out.  Lots of time during the day we would just sit out on the decks and just watch the scenery go by.  I would definitely do a cruise again.
