Q & A

To Neicy, I have asked the following question before and trust me the response was Niecy would be good for this one.

Recently I have seen and have been bombarded with the titles Prophets Prophetess, and Evanglists.  I get the Evangelists but no one it seems just wants to be a christian and spread the word of God (Evangelists).  I have realised that those with these titles have some great demands on church, church groups and gatherings when they are asked to speak, demanding right down to what type of water they want to drink and donot get me started with the money they are asking for.  Where does this appointment of Prophet/prophetess comes from.  I am a bit turned off by the titles.  Shed some light here for me, thanks.

    • LOL this is so funny to me not that you ask the question but what the question entail. Yes I do understand your being turned off because I too feel the very same way. I am a licensed/pinned and all Evangelist, but I care NOT about the title because in Gods eyes I am nothing but his humbled servant Amen? Ok here is the deal we know that in today society man has made a mockery of the church, and has since made it a quick get rich scheme. Now the word of the Lord tells us in 2Peter 1:10 “MAKE YOUR CALLING AND ELECTION SURE” some of us need to “Examine ourselves as to whether we are in the faith and test ourselves, but that would be too much like right. Ok so now a lot of people in today’s churches are calling themselves or let me just be frank and truthful, when the Leader (the pastor) ain’t right his flock is not going to be right see that spirit within him is going to trinkle down to his followers and if he feels like brother so and so has been a good and faithful house servant meaning bowing and serving him, not just in the church and outside the church, his home, well that pastor will deem him a pastor under his leadership etc... you follow me, there are soooooooo many churches falsely raising up these so called prophets, prophetess, etc... the word of the Lord tells me no man can call you or you can call yourself, it is He (God) who calls you into ministry and will give you the position and title of whatever he deems for you to have.
And by doing so he will use your church leader he has deem pastor of that church, but so many have turned from Gods truth and from Gods word and Gods ways and going on their own making up their own doctrine. This is so deep and it’s getting late but I will continue with this on tomorrow....TO BE CONTINUED!

    • Ok trying to finish up here; Let's go to the book of Ps.115:14 The LORD shall increase you more and more, you and your children. The key word here in this scripture is THE LORD shall.....not man but the Lord will increase you, now lets go to 1 Cor.3:6 it reads:I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. Yes the pastor can groom you when you get the call but it says GOD GIVES THE INCREASE, not man! God will give us what we need to do his kingdom work not man, the Holy Spirit in us will lead and guide us where God will have us to go and give us instruction on how to do it NOT man. As for all these false prophets/prophetess Jesus warned, "Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. "You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thorn bushes or figs from thistles? "Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. "A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. "Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Therefore by their fruits you will know them." (Matt. 7:15-20)

Jesus is not telling us we will know someone’s false or true prophecy from their fruit but will know them by their fruit. Jesus basically used two illustrations of the believers to unbelievers, one was sheep and goats, the other was sheep and wolves.
Matt 10:16: "Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves." The disciples were sent out as sheep, those who followed the shepherd and Jesus admonishes them to have wisdom, be as crafty as the devil is as you are sent out in the world. Know that you are among enemies that would like to tear them to pieces but don't act like the devil, don't return evil for evil but be as harmless as doves. The dove was the form the Holy Spirit came upon Jesus at his baptism. It came upon him gently, and stayed with him his whole ministry. We see Jesus never strived or pushed people to join, he gave them the truth and a choice to follow. He beckoned them, he drew them, but never forced, rushed or pushed them.

Acts 20:29-30:  “For I know this, that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock. “Also from among yourselves men will rise up, speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after themselves.” Wolves are the enemy of sheep, they eat sheep. They chew up the flock as sheep are their diet.

Jesus warns about those coming from within the church that would actually tear it apart. This would be done by what they teach which would be patently false. Since they are in the Church, they would teach from the bible but distort its message. As Paul states in 2 Cor.11:13-15 they are false apostles and messengers looking like those who teach righteousness. They may look good on the outside but the life of Christ is not there on the inside and their message will always be with scripture, but distort its meaning. Their focus will be their church or organization instead of Christ.

Lets look at Eph.4:11-16 11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: 13 Till we all come in [1] the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: 14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; 15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: 16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.
      Brimstone girl I don't mean to go on and on, but I get excited about the word of God and I can go on and on with this because the word of God is so rich but I do hope I have helped shed some light on your question, in essence it is GOD who calls, increases us and leads us in any position in ministry if our hearts are right towards him. Man has no power to call anyone as you know God is the one who decides who he wants to minister to the lost and again not man only those called of God, We must remember to try the spirit by the spirit isn't that what the word tell us in 1John 4:1 ? and I will end here with: Jeremiah 23:1-7Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith the Lord. 2 Therefore thus saith the Lord God of Israel against the pastors that feed my people; Ye have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them: behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings, saith the Lord. 3 And I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all countries whither I have driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase. 4 And I will set up shepherds over them which shall feed them: and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall they be lacking, saith the Lord. 5 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth. 6 In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his name whereby he shall be called, THE Lord OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS. 7 Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that they shall no more say, The Lord liveth, which brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;

Because of so much corruption within the church God is calling a new breed of teachers and raising them up to do his kingdom work because the former breed has gotten corrupted and has now turned and gone their own way, I don't care how long a pastor may have been pastoring if he/she has not been faithful to God in his/her calling God will shut them down if you can see in the spirit realm as I do thank God for the gift you will see the shift that God is doing, he is raising up younger and younger pastors because these old fuddie duddies are lost, and just plain old stuck in their ways and won't conform back to the beginning with Christ, so they are going to be shut down and sat down by GOD! Pay attention to how some of these big named Preachers are being called out (ex: Pastor Eddie Long, Prophetess Juanita Bynum, Even T.D Jakes) has had some scandal and I left two churches because of the vision God gave me about the two pastors who were leading the church and God pulled me out of them, he knows those whose heart is pure towards him and he will pull them out of those ministries that are not right. The last church I attended I was seated next to the pastor because he had deemed he his student and there was this woman who had been there from the beginning I was a new comer to the church, now I ain't in no way, shape form or fashion trying to be in no body's pulpit but thats where God is pulling me, but anyhow I saw the jealous spirit on her and she felt it should've been her seated up there next to the pastor now this was a growing church only 3 years in ministry I was lead there to be a help by the Holy Spirit, ok so she saw that I was being put out there to preach, and I guess her flesh got the best of her and she told the pastor that her (mother) called her a prophetess, ok so that don't make you one right? Ok so then the pastor because of who she was meaning her mom was a so called woman of God and a great minister may she rest in peace, the pastor deemed her a prophtess in his church I was floored and I made my exit again God does the calling not man, this woman could not speak let alone preach, she would fumble over every word when she got up in that pulpit, the word of the Lord says in (Tim.2:15)Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

She would just read from her notes which most times was just scriptures and she fumbled over them she was horrible so I left that church because I knew she was not called by God she wasn’t bearing any fruit. Well my friend if you need more just holla, but I do hope I helped you with this. God bless.

    • Oh and I forgot this about the money there is a pay scale in which a speaker is to be paid, I have the list here somewhere and I forget what the pay is for all others but I do know that a licensed Evangelist is paid $75.00 when they speak.

    • Brimstone girl I am on fire you've got me started lol, I'd like to share this with you as well the Holy Spirit inspired this as well a few years ago and I began to write:
WILL YOU BE WEEPING AND GASHING OF TEETH?

Obedience is better than sacrifice. It is better to obey than to burn. God tells us to obey his every word in the bible. Many don't understand but the bible is speaking to the Christians. Yes the bible was written for everyone, but its instructions are pointing to the followers of Christ Jesus. We were called with a purpose and part of that purpose is to preach his gospel throughout that land to bring souls into the kingdom. God's kingdom is at hand. We are not doing as God has instructed us to do. But regardless of others "we" too are called to minister to the loss and help guide them to Christ. Even when we can see others doing wrong we still have to know in our minds to do what is right God will deal with those doing wrong in his time on his own accord. We also must remember to pray for our church family as well as our leaders.
Many preachers, ministers have turned from God's truths only fooling themselves putting themselves in God's place by strategically making themselves to be idolized by their congregation. Some are in a race to see who can build the biggest mega church, who has the largest congregation, what members can give the biggest tithes and offerings. Where in the history of the bible where Jesus walked the earth to and fro preaching the gospel did he ever have an entourage following him, when did guns have to be keeped in close sight of Jesus? I don't recall Jesus having a private jet to fly him anywhere (he walked).

Jesus didn't wear fancy suits and expensive shoes. I'm not saying you can't have lavish things or that God can't bless you with them, but many make it a show in the pulpits and churches. Where did it read that Jesus lived in a home with 7 bathrooms and 10 bedroom and so forth? It has become a mockery to go to church. People are so caught up on what so and so is doing, or wearing, too busy looking in other people's backyards when their own needs cleaning up including some pastors. What happen to come as you are in the church? People in the church are way too judgemental of people coming into the house of the Lord. These people are looking for true salvation, but some are being turned away because of their circumstances or because the church has forgotten how to minister God's way because they are too focused on other things and not true salvation and saving souls and the reason for being in church.

It so saddens my heart because so many need the Lord and there aren't enough true servants going out into the highways and hedges preaching the gospel to draw them into God's house. We all will be held accountable for what we do and don't do, but just know God sees all and knows all. There are no big I's and little u's in God, He sees us all the same. There is no respect of person with him. No one is higher than him,
No matter what position we may hold in the church we will never be or can ever be higher than God. The church better revist the story of Lucifer.

    • Niecy, thanks very much.  I was so excited for the answer I was up at 2 to read your first response.  Some light has been shed on this for me especially with the scriptures that you have shared.  I am really searching the Word and want more and get an understanding.  I am feeling the Holy Spirit speaking to me and the message is seek him through searching the Word.  The question was just coming up all the time.  I must admit I have been saved a while but only recently have found myself really seeking, praying and paying attention.  I feel like a new babe in Christ.  Thanks for sharing.
