    • heartheart this is one of the hardest questions ever.... It isn’t one thing it’s been many , so I’d like to put in it in categories just three:
One fab: gave me hope and brought joy and keep me fighting( and still do)
Daily life: helped me scrapbook my memories of cyndi after she died for her son.
And the biggest one was Hope from many and with that God shines brighter

These seem silly but they are the greatest gifts at times I needed them and they are just the categories I could so easily sub category these for I’m blessed and very rich with the love I receive.
      Hugs

    • For me it was just being a Real Friend.  My mom has a gypsy spirit so we moved a lot growing up (went to 21 different schools), and then I married a military man which has the same moving challenges...

Needless to say I have had a lot of acquaintances & friends for the moment but it wasn’t until I met my BFF about 6-7 years ago that I had ever really had a true girl friend.

Aside from my relationship with my husband & children; My friendship with her is the most important relationship in my life.  There is not one person in the world that gets me like she does and that I can tell absolutely ANYTHING to no matter how strange, or obscure without judgement.

We’ve laughed (a ton) cried, vented & screamed to one another about EVERYTHING imaginable.  Never once have we ever bickered or even shared one cross word with one another about anything since we’ve been friends.  She keeps me grounded & sane - so her friendship was one of the greatest gifts I have ever gotten - from her or anyone.

      Love, Light & Blessings

    • I had a terrible miscarriage and my friend came to the house to help bath me, dress me, cooked breakfast and made sure all my needs were met when I was released from the hospital.  My husband had a very important meeting out of state and she stepped right in, doing my grocery shopping and all.  Thinking about it now has brought tears to my eyes.

    • I know this may sound silly but the nicest memory I have of a friend doing something for me was right after I had my 1st child. She came to visit me in the hospital. And it was the day after my c section and I wanted a shower real bad. The nurses kept putting me off. So my friend put a chair in the shower and TOLD the nurses I was taking a shower NOW!

That shower made me feel so good after being in labor for 3 days and then ending in the c section.

    • End of last year my best friend ever came to visit me and she made me feel so good that I’d given her the bedroom & master bathroom for privacy, like I’d set her up in a 5 star hotel. ;oD  And she let me drag her out for a night walk on the bike/horse trail with just a flashlight and a camp lantern. We laughed and laughed like a couple of kids who snuck out of the house without our parents knowing. She came to visit me and while the visit was a short one, she made me remember good things.

    • When I was going through my divorce years ago a parent from my daughter’s pre-school befriended me.  Both our daughters became best friends and she was there for me 100% to cry on and talk to when I was falling apart from the divorce.  Our friendship fell apart as we went our separate ways, but I truly appreciated her caring ways back then.
