    • We live in a very small town but they have some really nice little festivals quite often.  We attended one today & last weekend as well.  Each month they also have a ‘bands on the river’ thing as well.  For a small time they really do try to have things for the family quite often.

    • I live near Front Royal Virginia and each May they have a Wine Festival that has lots of food vendors, crafts, and a Kids Corner.  We usually go every year even though I am not a big wine drinker.

In Delaplane, a town near us, they have the Strawberry Festival every year around Memorial Day and they have lots of fun stuff for the kids like a petting zoo and hayrides.

    • We have a wine festival in the next town over... I have never been to one because I don’t drink wine & assumed it was mainly for wine drinkers... I may have to check ours out... Thanks for sharing!

    • We had an Art Festival about two weeks ago but I had to work all that weekend.  We do go to a Sea Food Festival and love it.

    • Our town is too small for festivals.   When I say I live in a small town, I mean 100 residents.

We do have celebration for Syttendi Mai (Norway’s Independence day) though, and usually one hell of a good party for the 4th of July.

    • Yes, there are just a couple of small festivals in my town, but in surrounding areas such as downtown there are numerous festivals at Seattle Center.  We go to the Strawberry Festival in June, and on occassion to the others.

    • There’s constantly festivals, farmer’s market, etc. where I live.  This weekend they had a 3 day crawfish festival.  We just drove the golfcart past it because it’s was sooo packed!  We live on the water and people from the city drive in every weekend.  I love living there but sometimes the traffic on the weekends can be pretty wicked.
