    • For me, I was in TX visiting our inn-laws and my husband mentioned how much I loved books.  One of his relatives told us about a huge warehouse that had great deals on books.  We went to check it out... it happened that it was a warehouse for a National family owned bookstore chain (she didn’t say which one) and the books were the spillover from their stores.  The first time I got about 30 books (Large DK and other HB kids picture books) and ended up paying about $1 - $2 a piece (this was about 10 yrs ago).

The second time (several years later) I just happened to go at the right time.  They no longer did the $1 - $2 a book but had them half price.  However they were reorganizing their shop & I was bored so offered to help out in exchange for a deeper discount on a few books.  After a couple days of helping out she took me in the back where she showed me their recent overflow shipment of 100’s of boxes of books.  She told me “we close in about an hour, go through all the boxes you can in that time and take whatever you want for helping out“.  Out of respect I only took about one box of books (about 40 - 50 books) but even as I was leaving she was like are you sure that is all you want???

Amazingly enough when I went to list them in my book organizer (that scans stores for books) most of these books hadn’t even been listed on Amazon yet!!  They were that new.

      My favorite find yet!

    • I get ideeli in my email everyday, and last month I was able to get a $300 Tahari suit for $108. It fits like a glove and when I looked in the mirror all I could say was, “who IS that?”
