    • Yes, we will be having an egg hunt on Sunday rain or shine for our two boys.  I will also be videotaping the event. estatic

There was supposed to be one at the Rec Center in town last Saturday but it got cancelled due to weather.  My oldest son was very disappointed but he knows rain or shine, we will have one here at the house for him and his brother. :)
      They are so much fun!

    • We do an egg hunt with plastic eggs every year.  Even though mine are teens now they still expect & enjoy it.  We usually color eggs too but don’t hide them (it really is a mess if one isn’t found...lol).

We put a little candy & some change in them.  As they have gotten older we put a few dollar in them as well.

    • Hi Diane & Miss!  In our family, it’s a tradition each Easter for my 4 sister’s & I to have an Easter egg hunt with are kids.  Weather permitting, we have it outdoors. If it’s raining, it’s indoors.

Through the years, our kids have grown, some have gotten married and some have children of their own. This year, we asked our teenage kids if they want an Easter egg hunt and they surprised us by saying, “YES, we love it!”  (I think it’s the cash inside the plastic Easter eggs that keep them playing!)

    • My daughters (teens) informed me today that I needed to talk to the Easter Bunny and ask why he didn’t put an egg under their pillow last year...LOL (Something we had done a few times but I must have forgot about it last year).

So I guess this year ‘he’ will remember their pillow...estatic

    • We do not have any small children to do an Easter egg hunt but we did have them for our boys when they were small.  One year my good friend and I had a huge Easter egg hunt at her house...about 100 people w/children...and boiled and colored hundreds of eggs...and hid them...they found most of them....the rest...well...I guess they decomposed.
