I’ve done raised beds and container gardening. I like smaller raised beds that easy to keep weeded. And I like the large containers too for the same reason, but they need fertilizing more often than a raised bed, in my experience. (I still have swiss chard in one container.)

If you Google container gardening you will get a lot of great ideas as well as designs on certain containers. I want to suggest to the co-op management that they give up half of the space they park the back hoe in so we could have a communal garden. They love all the different flowers, but don’t want vegetables which is bad because not only would it be healthy, but we could get to know our neighbors more as well.
I just bought a raised bed kit and am looking forward to starting my planting soon!!
