    • I had a complete hysterectomy, three surgeries at different times, but period wise, glad it is gone...as far as losing estrogen, it is tough at times, but i get through it..i will not use estrogen replacement and still get hot flashes, night sweats, headaches, brain fog, etc..but i deal and know it will get better.

      Hope you feel better too!

    • My sister had a hysterectomy last year and feels so much better. She’s never mentioned feeling a part of her was missing, just relief of having it done. I don’t even think of my uterus, ovaries or falliopion tubes... they‘re so outta sight and outta mind. Not that they‘re busy doing anything anyway. ;oD

    • i had a partial hysterectomy in 2002.  it was extremely upsetting.  i could not fall pregnant easy though managed to have 2 children after many years of tests and trying.  i felt my choice to conceive and have a baby had been taken away.  for me i felt a loss and it was painful.
