    • I’m suspicious as to why now? Why not 2 years ago? So for me it makes him look worse. A true leader will step up and question things not only when it is self serving.

    • Personally, I’d like to see a certificate that proves Donald Trump grew his own hair and didnt scrape it up off the floor of a dog boutique.

      Yes I’m bad

    • Vicki that's "hair-larious".  LOL  IMO, I think Trump is a smart man.  He didn't get to where is by being stupid.  But, his ego is unbelievable .  IMO, I think he's a publicity dog and I'd bet money that the closer his date get's to announcing whether he'll run or not that he doesn't run.  Plus he said he'd release his financials and people would be amazed at what he's worth.  Pffftttt.....so what.

    • heart Tracy, that’s incorrect. Candidates that have ran and past elected presidents both have had to prove citizenship and your right it is the principle of it! That in order to be president you must be a citizen so in principle with being a law abiding president with integrity you would think if asked there would be not a second of hesitation.

I think Trump is amazingly smart he is using this to his advantage and I think with election time coming up Obama is getting nervous to see Trump might be a contender and by blasting trump the Obama camp thought people would blast Trump too but it worked against Obama and made Trump look good for getting him to do something.
      It’s all about upcoming election.

    • Trump won’t get the republican nomination in my thoughts. He has business savvy but no political experience. Of course he used this that’s what opposites do. I just think timing was about next election.
@Mztracy if he would have complied when asked it would have stayed out of the media and the media would gave moved to something else. He fueled this himself by not compling immediately.
It was a bad choice on his part and the parts of his advisors !
      Hugs

    • Donald Trump is a horse’s ass.  He is a master illusionist, if you ask me.  He is all about the show and has little or no depth.  He is a pot-stirrer who takes credit for anything he sees.  His attitude is much like a toddler; if i see it, it’s MINE...if i want it, it’s MINE to take...if it’s successful, I MADE IT.

Only Donald Trump could twist a situation to his advantage as well as he has re: the birth certificate issue.  Think about it: when Obama produced his birth certificate, Trump saw it as a victory.  A victory???  Trump managed to prove that he, himself, was WRONG, and he saw it as a victory.  Horse’s ass...

    • He did not refuse to show his birth certificate!   I watch both sides (dem and rep) of the tv shows.

Way before Trump started his campaign and it was per the dictionary definition:
a series of coordinated activities, such as public speaking and demonstrating, designed to achieve a social, political, or commercial goal: a presidential campaign

I saw with my own two eyes and heard with my own two ears many= more than one - news anchor holding Obama’s birth certificate up on the tv screen while being recorded (Im sure the recordings of these programs are floating around in the satellite arena)

Yet- the “campaign” still continues all over the news, regarding his papers... birth certificate etc..now his schooling.

Regarding Bush or other president’s Yes, I did hear questions asked but not nealy to the extent of “Our” current President.

I am going to blog about why I am responding to these posts when usually I would stay completely out of this talk altogether.

    • One more thing about “The Donald”

He may have made some good business choices he did not start out a pauper. Here is one clipping:
During the housing boom of the 59's and 60's Fred (Donald’s Dad)amassed a fortune of $200 million (about 41 billion in current $$$) with residential development in Queens and Brooklyn

Donald was the product of private schools and the connections they provide After learning the business in his father's company, The Donald decided to take on Manhattan .

    • I re-iterate  WHY was he pushed into holding a press statement, to tell the country look, here is the document, now can we put this aside because it is interfering with Presidential business.

I can not believe the voters and his fellow Government officials would allow a person who was not a citizen to rise through the ranks of political arena with NO documentation.

This is why I am frustrated.... then again, my frustration in this matter is doing no good either.

I will continue to do my part as I have, by writing letters and taking documentation of the issues I feel strongly about and presenting these documents along with my written statements and questions to the local Assemblyman and My district Congressman ...

At least all this got my mind off a real issue, a more important one, for a short time and for that I can smile.

Now we know he is, and now we need to move on and really look and the important issues at hand. IMHO tongue out
