    • I guess you’ll have to tell her straight out that you don’t want her to. Myself, I’d ask why she wants to visit now? Is she coming to see me or is the visit free housing while she’s in the area?  (Not likely in my neck of the woods... literally.)

    • As the other ladies have said why lie, be open and honest tell her you‘re not really up to the visit and leave it at that you owe no one a explaination as to why you don’t want them at your home. Hope it works out!

    • I’m too wimpy to come right out and say that I didn’t want her to visit.  I’d just say whatever time she suggested was not a good time until she got the hint tongue out

    • stop being wimpy!  it’s not as if you really know this woman anymore.  does she want to stay w/ you?  if she’s just passing through-tell her you have a 1/2 hour for coffee and time it, saying it was nice catching up have a safe trip.

listen to the others.  you don’t have to see anyone you don’t want to.  not even family

    • Like someone said, if she is passing through make a date away from the house.  If you have not heard from her in a while I would wonder what the motive is.   If you do not want to see her don’t, be honest.    Good Luckestatic
