    • I met a man and all he wanted to do was stare at my breasts. He continued to lick his lips. I excused myself and never went back.

    • Three particularly bad dates come to mind.

One was a blind date who was a friend of a good friend’s boyfriend.  The four of us went out to dinner.  I had to pay my own way- then my friend’s boyfriend insisted on keeping the receipt so that he could write off the dinners that he didn’t even pay for as a business expense! My date scarcely said a word. I ended up walking home.

Another time, two girlfriends and I triple-dated and went to SF for my birthday.  My “date” didn’t have enough money so I had to pay for him to go to The Punchline (a comedy club) with us.  Although I saw him frequently at school, he “forgot” to pay me back. tongue out And all he ever talked about was his home state-Colorado.

The third time, my boss,Steve, made me go out with his friend, Jerry, who had just moved to Las Vegas where I lived. Jerry was a one-upper meaning anything you could do, he could do better.frown Hmm. Well, at least, Jerry talked!

    • Ok, here’s mine.

I had “met” some man online (over a year ago) and we had progressed to talking on the phone a lot. When we finally met for lunch, he hardly talked to me during it and the walk on the grounds afterwards, and then he tried to get invited to my house. When I said not today, he asked.... are you ready for this?.... Why, do you have dirty panties on the floor? And then clueless on why I dumped him, even wanted to “hook up” with me again weeks later. ;o/

    • I can’t say I have had any bad “dating stories“.  Now if you count the jerk I dated for two years...well..I must have gone into some “stupid period” of my life because I was stupid to have given this guy two years of my life...but I did.  Lesson learned! He was a cheap SOB....and he really pissed me off when he gave me a Curious George stuffed monkey for my birthday once (I was a senior in high school..he a sophomore at Clemson University).  I hate stuffed animals to this day!! I understand he is divorced..no children...and still a jerk!

    • Ladies, I love these stories. Thanks for sharing. It’s really good to be grown and see the past mishaps, right!

    • I went out with this guy I used to work with.  He took me too a really nice restaurant and then proceeded to talk about his ex girlfriend and how he hadn’t had sex in like 6 years.  Total turn-off!  We never went out after that and I left that particular job shortly afterwards.

    • I’d say the worst date I ever had was when I was in high school, maybe senior year, but I don’t remember for sure.  It was one of those things where I’d seen the guy around, thought he was cute and a friend fixed us up.  We went to the horse races.  Hour drive there with a guy who did not talk.  I think we were both jsut too shy.  I never went out with him again, but he’s an ok guy.  I ran into him ten years ago.  Still not a talker.
