    • I caught some of it because I fell asleep, but I did see most of the second part with Rosie O‘Donnell, it was quite interesting and scary all at the same time. My thoughts were why go to that extreme, but not to the point of doing your research on the bottom surgery first? When she did go to the doctor’s seminar to find out the info on how the surgery would be done and the cost and the fact that the doctors/scientist have not yet found a way to create a functioning penis was very disappointing to her/him and she opt not to do the surgery so in essence she is still a woman down below, crazy as it is what are these people thinking about. Or do they really think or just act on first impulse?

    • Without seeing the show I don’t think it’s implies. Especially sine it is so expensive. A former customer of mine went from male to female and I got to witness all the changes.... Even helped with the makeup, clothes and hairstyle while going through the change and afterwards.

My understanding is they have to live the life of the sex they want for a period of time, do therapy and of course the money.

    • Well the way it seem with Chaz the money wasn’t an issue it was the non-fuctioning of the penis and the size was a huge factor for him/her. It was stated that most times they take the clit and make it fuction as a penis but in that most times it would come out small if they didn’t use skin from the stomach or other areas of the body to form a penis (OUCH!)

    • I don’t have the TV capacity to watch anything that isn’t on Fox 40, ABC, or Antenna TV that is old TV shows.

I don’t think “these people” are acting on impulse for being a transgender. But with Chaz I think more about her weight than what gender she feels herself to be. Once she decided to go for it and undergo the removal of her breasts, it seems she blew up in weight. So now she’s a fat boobless what?  She doesn’t look like a man as some transgenders do with the hormone treatment and surgery.

Ofcourse this is my ignornance of the facts of her/his story. Please fill me in.

    • It was a gr8 show and it takes courage to do what he has done. He sounds like a man and has a a good relationship with his gf. The problem with the weight is the testosterone injections which cause weight gain. Hopefully he will be able to lose the weight.

As his mom stated, ‘She [Cher] loves being a woman and if she woke up tomorrow in a man’s body, she would do whatever needs to be done to become a woman.’
