Q & A

Has “The Change” also affected your Christmas spirit?  Who out there is willing to admit that it is harder these days to get in the mood for the holidays?  Do you find yourself relating to Mr. Scrooge vice Mrs. Santa Claus?

    • I have not gone through that change as of yet, but my own illness changed a lot in my life.

I do get a bit of the scrooge now and then, but no matter how bad it gets...i try and keep the mrs clause going too.

If i can make it through what i already go through on a daily basis and smile, the change will have nothing on me!! lol

    • I’m not sure if it’s the change or this damn empty nest or the fact that I no longer have little children to buy, shop or fret over. The tree is still in the box in the attic.

No sign of it showing up yet!

    • Amy, I don’t know really how to answer.  I may as well take this opportunity to tell others, I do not start Christmas until after the Mid Night Mass.  Yes, the tree, the lights and the manger are up.  There are few presents under the tree from neighbors.  Other than that, we, family members, understand Christmas is to celebrate Jesus’ birth and thus the birthday boy got all the attention first.  Then we will join the celebration from 25th to Epiphany.  Also since we have a relatively small members in my family, we told each other after the holidays, with same amount of money, we can get each other some good deals.  My friends are kind of getting use to my tradition.  I told them they would be really lucky if they received anything from me prior to Christmas and if by Chinese New Year and they do not hear from me, they better send a search team to look for me.
Sorry for being so long... so girls, those I promise to mail something to you... now you know, they are still here. ohhhh
