Q & A

NOt a question..Just something some of you might be able to see.  This came from a local astronomer that lives in NOrth Augusta....
The North Augusta area will see something spectacular tonight. (Sunday). Be outside a little before 10:45 and look up about 35 deg in the direction of ENE, 1/2 way between NE and E, and about 1/3 the way from the horizon to the zenith. Sunlight will flash off an Iridium communications satellite. It will grow, peak at -8 magnitude at 10:45 and then dim in about 10 seconds. The sat moves N to S. This is bright!!!
