    • I too think it could be both.  Some people do like to kiss “a**” and usually step on another people to accomplish the goal.

A person who really tries to give 110% without hurting others is usually a “team” player.  You can just tell the difference.

    • Maybe...... Just maybe..........

She highly respects the other person and wants to grow up to be like them???

      Or....

She lacks social knowledge on how to behave and is mirroring someone she thinks is in the know???

      Or.....

      She is brown nosing!

    • I think it all stems from her motive.  If it is genuine, she/he is just a warm, friendly and helpful person.

Yet the bible reading I did last night mentioned we should not judge for we do not the situation, what’s in that person’s heart, and thus for me personally, I will just be thankful for having such a helpful coworker around me.  IMHO.

    • Thank you for all your responses.  Each answer seems to be right. She is young, a very friendly and helpful person and highly respects her much older co-worker(not me) and wants to be like her.  I know it is wrong of me, but her clinging to her idol and always pleasing office staff bothers me.

I will adhere to Chinadoll’s kind response.  Thanks!

    • I agree with Momapan.  She needs to find her own identity.
