    • Well, there’s nothing in Linden but Front Royal will have their 4th of July celebration on the 3rd.  Other areas around us do have fireworks on the 4th though.

    • Sad to say..NO

Both city’s close by cancelled the fireworks show last year because of budget cuts.frown They were such good shows too and so many families enjoyed them. Especially the show that just use to be down the street from us at the park had their’s the weekend before which would have been this weekendfrown. Hubby and I would just walk a couple blocks and be right there, and now there is nothing to enjoy. The next city close to us would be Redondo Beach, so I might go there with my cousins. Hubby will be on a fishing trip.

    • No organized fireworks as such, but lots of kids (and 50 yr old kids) buy them and shoot them off on main street.  It makes for a pretty good show.

    • Well New York City always does up the 4th in grand style with Macy’s doing their thing over the river. They moved it to the Hudson River because there wasn’t enough room on the East River for all the barges and the amount of fireworks going off. Fireworks are illegal for regular folks, but that doesn’t stop them from setting off firecrackers and blowing up a few garbage cans with a couple of cherry bombs or M-80s.

The village I live in has a fireworks display happening in the park, which I may or may not attend. I usually enjoy watching the Macy’s thing on TV. Safer that way.
