Has anyone tried 1-800 Dentist? If so, were you satisfied with the referral?
Just yesterday my daughter went to a new dentist for a check-up referred by 1800 Dentist. After several x-rays she was left on the dentist chair for over 45 minutes (hygenist told her 15 min). The dentist didn’t even introduce himself and facing sideways told her that she needs a couple of fillings and to come back next week to get that and cleaning done. She was so upset with the long wait and the abruptness of the dentist.
I called the office about her dissatisfaction, but they said that 30 min is normal for the x-rays to develop and 10 min for the dentist to review. Well, after the fillings and the cleaning she will not come back.
I have found that 1-800-dentist is just a paid directory-it says nothing about the quality of their dentists. I check potential dentists by typing in their name, the city, and reviews so I can read what other people have to say.

Lucky you Eva to have a long time dentist. My daughter loved her orthodontist because he looks at his patients and explains the treatment. She wishes her dentist was like him.
I had a bad experience using that service. I didn’t like the dentist I was referred to at all... she was terrible. When I switched to a different dental office after that, her office refused to send my x-rays & charts.
Tracy, sorry to hear you also had a bad experience with that service. I sent a complaint to that service, but having heard back.
I have not tried it and probably won’t! I am tryingbto plan my next dental vist (and physical) for when I am back in MI for a visit.
I hate that I am not liking the medical services I receive here in Memphis!
