    • I’m sorry that July is a tough month for you. For me it varies depending on the circumstances. It can be September when work starts back and the number of hours is minimal and hope for more. This time many of us don’t know if we have a job or not, but we‘re keeping positive.

Hang in there.  Wishing you a nice holiday weekend with your family. heart

    • January is usually tough for me.  Hours get cut at work, not enough paycheck, long dark depressing days...

    • Being without power or the generator for 5 days in a heavy snow storm is going to stick in my mind forever. End of May, beginning of June. It was a primative survival and I made it.
Now I feel like I can survive anything.

    • My mother died in July, a day after Luther Vandross and my favorite cat of 17 years was put to sleep on July 19. However, it’s May that’s tough, my grandfather died and my life changed from then on, it’s been 16 years.

    • Definitely February!  Even my husband knows.  By the time February rolls around, I’ve simply had enough of winter and the gray, cold days.

To the ladies who suffer due to the anniversaries of the death of a loved one...perhaps a different perspective might help you feel better.  When my father died, i promised myself that I would not discount the value of his life by commemorating the date of his death.  My dad was alive for 67 very valuable years...and i KNOW he would want me to value my years.  He and my mother gave me the gift of life...and i honor that gift by living a good one!  What better way to show my parents how much i appreciate all they have done for me?

Don’t get me wrong...there are days that i feel the pain of missing my father very much.  It is those days that I concentrate on all he was when he was alive.

    • Daphne, what a great way to see and live with your loss. And I bet your dad’s spirit is very happy with how you celebrate life. ;oD

    • So sorry for your losses, friends!heart

November—it is the beginning of cold and flu season and with my health issues, I need to be extra careful during the winter months.

      February—A short month...but, cold, dreary and sad!frown

    • I don’t have a particular month that is especially hard. Unless you count August since it is my birthday, both my daughters birthdays, a few other family members birthdays and 2 cars that have to have license renewals. Very expensive month!!!!

    • That would be a sad month for me too, Lisa. I’m glad you‘re here with us so we can maybe make the month of October this year a little bit easier for you this year. And Welcome to Fab 40.

Vikki, OMG.... talk about “broke city” in August! LOL
