    • Really?   Honestly I did not know this, course sounds like your hubby is better at fashion than myself?  Don’t they still sell capris at the stores?  I am not being sarcastic I honestly hadn’t heard this.  I haven’t bought many clothes recently for myself except bras, and underwear.  I am trying to wear out the things I have so then I can start all over but I have never been very good with staying with the current trends.  Thanks for the info.

    • Agreed with Cc-u.

When I was in HK, leggin’ was in (just a few months ago) and I was not going to wear it in hot summer with a long shirt to cover my butts.

I am 50 and call me not trendy.  I don’t care.

    • It’s a well known fact that men think capris are a stupid look, so if my hubby said capris are out, I’d laugh at him and buy a  pair in at least two colors.

I have two looks.  Jeans and jeans hacked off at whatever length the scissors chooses.

What should be “out” are short shorts. I have seen the worst sets of legs in short shorts, including legs with veins and stretch marks. Ewww.

Personally, I like Bermuda shorts. Not too long and not too short.

I personally think they are a great alternative to shorts, especially for people who do not need to wear shorts at all.  I see nothing wrong them and have a few pair myself.

This summer after losing so much weight have gotten into wearing short skirts and skorts.  I find they are so much cooler to me.

No I don’t take fashion advice from my hubz but I did think it was funny that he piped up at all about fashion!!!!

I do have some and I do wear them. I usually wear shorts tho around the house.

Now I could understand if he told me my surgical green cargo pants (that are faded and super soft) were not a good fashion statement. Those could probably land me on any what not to wear show!

    • Welcome Kissess4u,

I’m 5‘1” (for real, LOL) and I think I would look good in capris. I’ve rolled up the legs of my skinny jeans (that are not skin tight) and with heels I do look taller. A deception of height is created with lean legged pants.

I won’t where shorts because I have an old, ugly injury on my left knee. Showing off some calf and my slim ankles, that I will do at 62 years old. ;oD

I also love the cargo shorts that hit mid thigh, slightly shorter than bermuda, but definitely longer than shorty short.happy
