Q & A

For those of you that work from home; what do you wear?  Seriously, I want to know if you have a routine on wardrobe and start times..  Do you knock out your work early in your PJs then dress for the day, or does your WFH job require you to visit clients and dress, or what?

    • Dress for success!

I often bake from home (last summer I sold at farmers market every week).  I wear the same thing at home as I would to get up and go to work.  Actually a little nicer, because my aprons I have at home are WAY cuter than the ones I have at work.

    • I work from home, and provide child care, so I just dress causual, capris, tee, sneakers...in winter jeans and a sweater maybe.

    • I am a hair-stylist/nail technician with my business in my home.  My typical attire is casual and depends on what the day holds.  Summertime calls for capris, winter for jeans. If i’m doing color, i wear dark clothing.  I rarely wear much make-up because of the dust generated by the nail services.  Gee, when i see it in writing, it sounds like i’m a drab! My hair is ALWAYS done and I am ALWAYS showered.  I have to make the most of what my limitations allow!

    • The kids I have now range from 2-5. But they started here as infants. And yes, an apron wouldn’t hurt!

    • Ok when I work from home I get showered early but lollygag with doing my hair and makeup. I usually wear shorts or whatever since I am on the phone and/or in front of my computer all day.

I do take stretch breaks for coffee, water, food, Fab40 or quick things around the house.

Sometimes I do forget that my hair is STILL in a towel tongue out

    • On days when i work from home, I tend to work in whatever then change to exercise then work, then get dress then work. On days when I have meeting I get up and dress right away

today, since my workout shorts are in the wash from my trip, yoga pants and a tee.
