    • To me, I would say yes, why would he/she not acknowledge that they are in a relationship? Obviously it sounds to me that they are not that into you and are looking for other possibilities.

You know that saying...“Don’t make someone your priority when all you are to them is an option”

How long have you been in this relationship?

Maybe you should have a talk with your partner.

    • I would have to ask how old is the relationship? Do you see each other enough to know there is no hanky panky going on elsewhere? Are you his friend on FB? And so you see who and what he is doing on there?

I’m not sure I would stress over this until there is something to stress about!

    • I had to show my hubby how to show me as his wife.
He had no clue regarding facebook.
      Ask him!

    • That will be the day when i will allow a social network to dictate my percieved value to any other human being!

There are so many possible explanations for the above scenario.

*Your SO doesn’t know how to set his preferences, etc.

*Your SO doesn’t want people knowing his business.

*You SO doesn’t use the site enough to bother with it.

Admittedly, there are enough negative reasons for not publicly acknowleding you but don’t let it be the beginning of a battle.  If your SO is “not that into you“, you must have other indications.  If there are no other indications, i’d just let it go.

    • Some poeple do not want to broadcast their relationship status on fb, or other social networks. The people who are important to them know. I only changed mine because I was tired of others coming on to me. It was fine for years then one person... oh well...

It did not make my relationship any more or less important to me. If my bff had commemented on it I would have changed it but it was not a priority.
