    • I have a soon to be ex-aquaintance who does this she is so into hanging out with her daughter’s and their friends it is just sickening. She is 48yrs. old and her daughters are in their early 30’s and middle 20’s of course the reason she likes hanging out with them is because for one she still likes to smoke pot and drink, and they all go to those gay bars. I mean where does one draw the line when it comes to hanging out with you children and their friends, and making their friends your friends? I can’t understand that type of relationship with some parents and then they wonder why the kids don’t show and have any respect for them.worried

    • I enjoy being around my kids and their friends on occasion. But I have no interest in doing it often. I am however friends on FB with a bunch of their friends. And they call and text me sometimes....

But hang? Not unless there is a celebration or something.

    • I don’t think my son would ever allow me to hang with his group, and I would have no desire to..now maybe his Dad would socialize with son and his group, but an outside social get-together...fishing, target shooting, horse-shoes or shuffle board.
