How do you put your small children to bed at night?  Do you let them cry?  If so, for how long?

    • When my kids were babies I followed my mom’s advice which is: If they have been fed, bathed, burped and has no illness then it is fine to let them have their moment. So I would keep an eye on them and give them about 10 min to settle down. Now obviously you know your childs cry and if it starts to escalate without calming after a minute or 2 I would check on them.

      Good Luck!

    • Kyle is almost 8 so he puts himself to bed.  Jack is three and after his bath, he gets his teeth brushed, and i read him a book and he goes down for the night.  He’s pretty good about staying in his bed too and doesn’t really cry.
