Q & A

Has anyone ever heard of Starting Over After Artificials?  It’s a clear nail polish you put on after having artifical nails removed.  I bought some yesterday and was wondering if anyone has ever used it.

“After I stopped wearing acrylics, my nails were in shambles. I started using this product and noticed my nails becoming stronger as the weeks went by. I must admit, you will experience some breakage if you are coming off of using fake nails because the difference in the thickness between the existing nails and the new nail growth, however, once that is over and there is only new nail (meaning the existing nail and the nail that is growing is all the same thickness) you will experience phenomenal results!
About a week after all of the old filed down nail (the nail that was there when I was wearing acrylics) had completely grown out, I noticed the growth of my nail was very rapid and that the nails were strong as well.”

    • I got it at Sally’s yesterday.  The box says:

High Ptency Treatment for Fragile Nails Damaged by Artificals

Therapeutic Nail Protein Contains Body Building Calcium

Rebuilds Nails With Natural Minerals & Essential Vitamins

Powerful Blend Of Rich Proteins Provides Maximum Resilience

Stimulates Natural Growth & Restores Strength Within Two Weeks

Long Wearing Formula With Fortifying Resins

I put it on this morning and I’m going to notate the date...and see how fast they grow and if they get stronger.

    • I need some of that!  I lost my nail yesterday in the store and thinking of maybe going b ack to natural nails.  Though I enjoy having long nails I notice I make a lot of errors typing with them.  Not good for what I will be doing.

    • fake nails are like a drug as you keep having to keep on top of them as they mess up your own nails

    • I should have been applying it daily but I’ve only applied it the one time.  But... the tips of my nails that had grown out which isn’t much because I cut them way down...are not as soft as they were before.  They actually feel stronger.  I’m thinking his stuff is really going to work.
