I have not reach menopause yet, but always heard horrifying stories. Is it that awful ? Will I be more cranky than the normal period?

Oh honey ........ let me enlighten you.

From zero to menopause your body and mind is one of nurture and love , you put everyone first and your last.
Then you hit menopause and you turn in a new person one who can then be the person you have always wanted to be as in selfish !
So you can use the excuse of menopause to tell everyone to back off , have a nap , eat what you like and just let it all hang out ......

There what is scary about that and they are not flushes they are power surges just no women has learnt how to use the power !estatic

    • I haven’t noticed that I’ve been more cranky.  I’d say I’ve been more emotional.  The highs are higher and the lows are lower than normal for me.

    • Well, some of it is the mind frame about menopause a woman has as well. If we fear it and don’t accept it as a passage of freedom, our hormones being up one minute and down the next will make the symptoms seem worse. But then too, the actual hormone levels can be so out of whack as to make a woman miserable. The best thing to do if you are having a concern when you are perimenopausal is ... have your hormone levels checked by your Dr.

    • Nothing horrifying about it. When it comes you’ll deal with it in your own way.
