Q & A

Has anyone felt they have really found their “nitch” in life? Do you really love what you do for a living or would you rather be doing something else? Do you ever wish you had someones elses job and feel you would probably be better at it?

    • have not found it, starting to doubt i ever will.....i care too much, it seems alot of people who are fortunate enough to have a job just don’t give a sh**.  Oh- I’ve seen some people who do a crummy job in all salary ranges.... it’s a shame ,there might be someone who can do a better job and like/love what they are doing.

    • I love what I do.

But.....  The business where I work is a bit shaky financially.  Will I still have a job this winter? next winter?  Not sure, so I’ve got my eye on other possibilities.  If I loose my job, I’m considering trying my hand at sales.

    • Vicki, I’ve pretty much decided I can be a much better food saleman than a couple of them that we get in at the restaurant.   Hopefully, it won’t be a career move I have to make!

    • I was a kick ass sales associate in retail. Was doing a good job in the marketing area after I received my BSBA.

Illness took it away, so for now jewelry is my nitch.

    • I was forced into retirement and live on a small pension. I like being retired but not poverty! I’m thinking of doing party sales.

    • I love what I do, but there are aspects of it which prevents me from continuing to grow. The annual budget cuts in the education field is always worrisome to so many of us. We haven’t been guaranteed a position for the next school year...

    • Linda, sorry to hear your troubles. Does NO ONE know how important teachers are to EVERY BODIES future? It drives me nuts that education seems to be the first on the chopping block and last on the pay raise scale. Those decisions are made by DUMB, uneducated people!!! Praying for your future, keep me informed on how things go for you. Connie

The school system is changing faster than one can grasp.

I was an elementary school teacher for 32 years and retired 2 years ago. It was my niche! I retired by choice and love my new life. This is my new niche!
      God bless the teachers.
