I am one of those women that will not even wear sweat pants to Wal-mart. I guess for me the worst mistake I ever made was strips. I had a sweater that had black and white strips. i looked like I just escaped prison not to mention that strips on a large woman makes them look even larger.
GETTING FAT!!
No joke...that is MY BIGGEST MISTAKE!! Of course I had CUTE FAT CLOTHES...but they were not as FUN. I can say that now that I’ve lost it and realize. But other than that...I really cannot recall a “fashion mistake“.
I can tell you of some fashion mistakes that are out there...but I never participated in them...LOL
I don’t think I’ve ever made a fashion mistake, I pretty much keep up with the latest in fashion.
"As you open the door to new relationships and remove the chain from your own fears, God will overwhelm you with new splendor."
Oh this could take all week as I did go to fashion college and we learnt to make our own so you kind of stretch the boundaries !
But it should more like read what have I inflicted on the nation and they have bought ........ the rustle of polyester shell suits tracksuits is all I’m saying in bright lurid colours ........ no one was safe even granny’s bought these !
I’m with Mary in saying—getting fat! Nothing fits right or looks right.
There was a particular pair of yellow pants when I was younger that may have been better not worn.
Mostly I’m a jeans and tshirt person, so pretty boring fashion. Probably most of my maternity clothes were fashion “don‘ts”
Tulip
Wearing a skirt or dress with heels that were too high. I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror was embarassed to see that I looked like a tart. I’ve since bought a few pair of cute flats.
I agree with Mary and Tulip. Years ago when I was heavy nothing looked good on me. I don’t necessarily keep up with the latest in fashion, but I buy nice clothes and the mirror tells me the truth.
I basically keep up with the latest fashion. Or I wear alot of jeans and t-shirts, you can’t go wrong with just a pair of jeans and a t-shirt.
When I wore a peach colored tuxedo to my junior prom, although many of the girls wore them, I still must have been on something then, lol...and I had a perm that went wrong..but my mom loves that picture of me..ya gotta love moms!
