    • Getting married and becoming a mother in the same year.  Wasn’t ready for those!

Becoming the mother of a child with severe birth defects.

Becoming “a mother who has lost a child”

      Divorce

Leaving the farm forever and moving to town.

      Becoming a step mom.

    • I’d have to say my most challenging changes were the first 5 years of my marriage (age 27-32).  Married, first child 9 months and 2 weeks later.  Bought a house, parents divorced after nearly 34 years of marriage, opened my business, had our second child, discovered i was pregnant 9 weeks after #2 was born, had #3 11 months after #2. All that happened before our 5th anniversary!

Of course, the loss of my beloved father was a personal crisis in itself...i am blessed to have such wonderful friends and family who helped me along the way of my healing.  Dad would expect me to live this life he gave me so you can bet, i’m living it for all it’s worth!

    • For myself, it’s whatever I have to deal with at the time it’s happening and not something in the past. At my age there’s been a Lot of life happening and right now it’s just divorce and getting myself and animals moved/relocated.

    • Divorce, but it helped me become independent and a better person. Just like some of you I’ve been unemployed, under employed, and currently don’t know the status of my job. I’m keeping positive...

    • For me it was having a stroke back in March, and trying to re-adjust my life to make it more stress-free (if there is such a thing)  and just trying to get healthy in my eating.
