    • I tend to clean up the house and fold clothes...if I’m home.
Or play a game on the computer...a mindless game that allows me to cool off.

    • Driving when you‘re angry/upset is just not smart or safe. I know from my own experience that BAD things can happen.  I don’t do that anymore.

If I’m really angry, I usually go for a walk and kick rocks and swear and get it all out of my system.

    • I don’t drive dangerously...just cruise. Although, I might spin my tires while going out of the driveway!

      MB...I love naps!!!

    • My first reaction to your post is...where do you live?  If you‘re in my neck of the woods, would you please let me know when you‘re on the road because you‘re angry?

All kidding aside, taking on the task of driving while on a slow burn sounds kind of dangerous.  I know that i have different driving attitudes and when i’m in an aggressive mood, i tend to stay off the road.  But i guess that’s just me.

My mode of diffusing a good MAD is much like Mary Clark’s.  Folding clothes and cleaning around the house is good therapy for me.

    • I go to the mindless activity and try to be alone while doing it. Otherwise I slam things and allow others in the house to share in my anger estatic

    • Well, I've had plenty of reasons for being mad the past 20 months, and I channel it into physical activity, maybe cuss some, and clean the bleep out of the house. ;oD

    • I tend to talk  it out or think it through until I can let go of it. I will not sleep until I can come to terms with it in my mind

    • When I’m angry my mind gets out of control and I have to vent, and rehash my angry situation to a couple of willing  listeners. Then later when I’m alone I cry and cry that let’s out the anger.

    • I get really quiet, go to my room, close the door and sleep it off. If that doesn’t work then I clean and organize my house with music turned up loud.

    • Thank you ladies for your answers.
I shall try to change how I deal with anger.

LOL Daphne...I live in the country in Western NY! We are so rural we don’t have street lights!
