Who or what are the motivators in your life and how has your life been affected?
There was this strange internal switch that seemed to come on as I approached 50. I’ve been a health nut on and off through my life but this time it kicked in with a vengeance. I don’t really know where it all came from. But, I lost 45 pounds, I’m back to a regular running schedule, I’m employed by someone else for the first time in years and I’m working on my pre requisites for our nursing program.
I guess I‘v decided I’d rather burn out than rust out
My motivation comes from my g-baby and my two daughters they all keep me going and keep me active and youthful looking lol.
"As you open the door to new relationships and remove the chain from your own fears, God will overwhelm you with new splendor."
My mom and a couple people I worked with used to be my motivators. But in the past few years I struggled with a WHO and have focused more on the WHAT.
I would say because of the WHO’s I am caring compassionate and successful at what I do. As for the WHAT it all ties in with the confidence of being over 40 and doing things for me that makes me feel healthy and happy.

My parents and grandparents were my first motivators. Their lovingkindness, generosity, work ethic and love for education strongly influenced my life. Their praise kept me moving!
Many teachers and pastors influenced me. Commendations of a job well done and teachings of trusting God helped to develop me. My walk with God has been wondrous!
My hubby and children motivate me to this day. As the nucleus of my family, I constantly look for ways to encourage, uplift and influence them in a godly way. They also do the same for me. I am so blessed to have them in my life.
