    • Long sleeve t-shirts with short sleeve t’s over it are one of my fave looks with a tailored khaki pant and low sneakers..because you can intermingle so many colors that way.

Also, scarves are still big, so a round collar t-shirt in a neutral color with a pretty scarf and a waist length jacket, wide leg jeans (I have one pair) and a pair of boots with a heel...and big earrings!estaticestatic

    • Sounds cute Mary!

I have to admit that I layer clothes a lot but because of menopause. I’ll wear a tank under a little long sleeve shirt, add a scarf around my neck and as I get warm I can peel things off easily and add them back when I feel better. We never really have much of a winter over here so I love traveling to cooler climates and being able to wear jackets and sweaters.

    • I too layer for several reasons.  One is the hot flashes and the other is down here it can be 70 deg. one day and then 38 deg. the next day.  It does get cold but we don’t have (imo) hard winters at all.  Like Mary I’ll wear short sleeve t-shirt or tank with a long sleeve t-shirt.  Jeans and boots for sure.  Last year I bought a black pea coat and it looks great dressed down or dressed up.

    • I also wear long sleeve T-shirts with a short sleeve shirt over it and a comfy pair of jeans or Khakis like Mary.heart

I might add a scarf to it If I am really cold and a jean jacket with some converse sneakers or a nice pair of boots depending on what mood I am in that day or where I am going.happy

    • Wearing a blouse with a sassy cardigan and skinny jeans along with a pair of pumps is a look that I like! A jacket is added if needed!

    • Well, let’s see, first I put on the long silk underwear, and then the blue jeans and then the carhart coveralls;  the cotton socks with the wool socks over them and then the thinsulate lined boots;  tank top, long sleeve t-shirt, thermal lined sweatshirt and parka over that.  Wool hat, hood and cashmere scarf.

    • Not so much in the fall which is my favorite season. The winter is a different matter; I have several fleece jackets of various weights, and a couple of vests to go underneath my coats. Have LL Bean parkas, Land’s End stadium squall coats and jackets. I have several sweaters, but if they are too hot, they wind up in the bag waiting for the below 0 wind chill days. I have several weights of jeans too, including flannel-lined for the real cold winter. I have shearling lined boots, boot socks & leg warmers, as well as silk long underwear bottoms.

I laugh at those who drive and complain about the cold. Those few moments it takes for you to lock your front door and get in your cars might seem cold. Try standing and waiting for 3 buses and tell me then it’s cold. You’ll have my sympathy then but not before!

    • I love fall clothing however fall in Memphis hits like in November-ish. But anyways.....

I always start with a cami, the a long sleeve T followed by a cute sweater or jacket and a scarf.
