    • I guess the reason I ask this is, since I’ve turned 50 it’s become really important to me to be as healthy as I can be. I decided about 6 months before my birthday I wanted to take off about 30 pounds and ended up, when all was said and done, taking off 45 within the year. I can’t imagine ever going back to feeling so crummy but in all fairness, I’ve been kind of health nut most of my adult life. I just got a little lazy in my 40’s and menopause threw me for a loop. Now I feel better than I have in years.

    • It is very important for me as I want to age and not be a bother to anyone. I would hate to know that I would be putting my children through health expences. I have a friend who is 93 years old and she is still very active. She lives with just her helper who does just the house duties. All her kids lives overseas. She does her own shopping, business. gardening and she goes to church every Sunday well dressed. She eats well. Just recently she developed pains in one knee but she has that under control. So far nothing else is wrong health wise. I want to age just like her.

    • Very important!  Lately though, I am in a slump..have put on some weight, weather changes affect my fibro, thyroid issues, etc..but I have made it a point to make changes before the winter.  A large part of my issue was worrying about many things this year, but luckily the stress which affects cortisol in our bodies has lightened up on me.heart

    • It is very important to me especially since I no longer have prediabetes!!  That was due to me being more consistent in exercising.  Before, I really didn’t place too much importance on it but now I absolutely do.

Both of my parents had pretty serious health issues and I do not want to end up like them.

    • very important even though my weight may suggest otherwise.  i do not feel that because i am older this importance in health and fitness is greater than when i have been younger.  it will always have importance.  i still enjoy icecream, lollies and junk food.  everything in moderation.
