    • We have a waitress at work that none of us really like much.  She is a very lonely person with a drinking problem and a husband who milks his “disability” for all it’s worth. She lives in a town that is very unaccepting of outsiders and I’ve felt sorry for her.

Wednesday I took her to town with me to go shopping.  Everyone at work thought I’d lost my mind, but it didn’t hurt me to be nice to her and it made her so very happy.

    • I enjoy going to the drive-thru for coffee or a snack and when I get up to the window, typically pay for the person behind me... nothing said, just a wave. It makes me feel good!

    • I do acts of kindness on a daily basis, I’m always sending out cards and letters letting people know I’m thinking of them, as well as giving away things to help those less fortunate. I help out at the church, I minister in the prisons, I pray for all mankind my list is limitless.

    • Yesterday, my neighbors left for a weekend getaway..I really like them very much..anyway, I was starting to mow my lawn and the fellow said to me, jokingly, “hey, can you mow mine while you are at it.”  After they pulled away, I mowed his grass and today I will pull the weeds out of the garden.  The wife has bad asthma and can’t do a lot outside.

I help all my neighbors in every way I can.  I also volunteer my time.  Even a smile can bring a sense of happiness to someone’s life.heart
