    • Yesterday my g-baby was looking through the Toys-R-Us sales paper and told me she wanted the Ninetendo DS game system for Christmas along with a pair of Hello Kitty walkie talkies lol. I told her that was all she was going to get from me by way of toys because she has so much now, and that I was buying clothes and undies etc... she has so many toys she can open a small toy store seriously.happy

    • I put ideas together all through the year.  Conversations with loved ones throughout the year reveals a lot.  I make it a habit to put ideas down in my cell phone  notepad while they are fresh in my mind so when it’s time for birthday/christmas or other gift-giving, i have a reference.

I began the actual shopping for Christmas a couple of weeks ago.  My goal is to be nearly (or completely) done by Thanksgiving.  I simply cannot stand the rude, manic behavior in the stores on Black Friday.

    • I’m doing a lot of knitting for Christmas.  Hand knit socks and hats.  I’ve already got some of it done and yarn bought for the rest.  Seeing as how I’ll be unemployed, I think that will be the extent of my Christmas giving.

    • @Tulip Knitted gifts sound so lovely! I personally love it when someone takes the time to make a gift for me.

I start shopping right after Christmas and throughout the year. I love Christmas and all it entails! I, too am giving a few crochet items as gifts.
