It seems like my son’s school has a LOT of fundraisers and I was just wondering if it is his school only or is it pretty common.
In October alone, we have had the Fall fundraiser, the Fall Fest next weekend which includes a small entry fee as well as a raffle they‘re having, and school pictures which is later this month. And this is only October!! I know there will be more fundraisers later this year and I think it is a little ridiculous!!

For me, it got to be so overwhelming that I “just said no” to a lot of them.
Not that many really. At the moment my son is selling Butterbraids. I forgot to ask why. Usually the music kids get stuck selling something every year because the school can fund all the sports, but God forbid they give any funding to the music department.
