    • In all honest not really offended but it does bother me, after I go to the expense of wrapping my family and friends  birthday gifts in birthday party or rather non-holiday party and I feel that they should do the same for me and most people do

    • No not offended at all. I usually get a couple birthday gifts at Christmas time (birthdays Nov. 29th) cause I don’t get to see some of my family members before then, so they give me my birthday gifts at Christmas wrapped in Christmas bags. I don’t mind, It was the thought that they even remember my birthday and to bring my gift to me.hearthappy

    • My birthday is 2 days before Christmas. My gifts have always been wrapped as birthday gifts, but I wouldn’t be offended if they were wrapped in Christmas paper/bag as I’m so thankful to be remembered on my birthday.happy

My last child was born in January and the baby shower was held in December. The gift was wrapped in Christmas paper. The dear friend who gave the gift to me stated, “I knew she wouldn’t mind because she is down-to-earth.“happy She was so right because she was present to celebrate my soon-to-be bundle of joy with me!

    • My birthday is in June and I can’t even remember the last time someone actually wrapped a gift for me.  If I got a an actual wrapped gift, I’d be so delighted I wouldn’t care if it was wrapped in baby shower paper!

    • Not offended by the wrapping but as a child I had a real issue with getting a combo gift.  I also get a bit upset if I get a gift that something free with purchuse for one of the days.  You know like you buy some perfume and get some make-up bag free.  That kind of thing. My ex was real good at doing that.  One year the cheapskate held on to a set of dishes that came with a microwave till mother’s day.  4 months.
