Q & A

how often can you dye your hair?  If I’m coloring my roots every 4 wks wouldn’t it be easier to dye all of my hair?

    • Easier?  Yes.  Good for your hair?  A big fat NO!

If you‘re using semi-permanent or demi-permanent hair color, the damage would be considerably less than if you‘re using permanent color.  You will deplete the hair of protein, strength, shine, elasticity...

Are you using a good shampoo/conditioner?

    • Well I get my hair done at the salon about every 3 months. But with the way I keep track of things, It’s more like every 4 to 5 months. I like the salon cause they use all this conditioning stuff on my hair to make it feel soft and look shiney.

    • It depends on your hair and what it can handle.  My hair is dyed every two to three months and my hair stylist uses a permanent color (don’t want to see gray), but like Frannie said, the products she uses are excellent and I do conditioning/keratin treatments at home...also, try using olive oil treatments for the hair, really brings out the shine.estatic

    • I use a rinse and dye my hair roots about every four weeks. dye over dye is not good if you are using permanent or semi permanent color unless you really know what you are doing.
