    • Hi Tulip,

I know how siblings will sometimes NOT see eye to eye on somethings, biut me being a parent to two adult women ages 27 & 30 i have never ever allowed my daughters to bicker and fight amongst one another. I would step in and make light of the issues, I have told them from their youth to this very day they are all they have besides me and God and one day I’ll be gone so you need to get along with each other and be there for each other no matter what!

They are very close today and they have learned to respect each others differences.

    • If were putting me in the middle of it, I would probably tell them they need to figure this out for themselves.

    • The trouble is, my youngest daughter and her dog moved in with her older sister.  And they live a block away.  And I get babysitting duty with the dogs and they work different shifts and have TOTALLY different lifestyles.  And one comes and sits here after she gets home from work and bitches about the other one.  And the other one comes here before she goes to work and bitches about her sister.  It escalated to really ugly today when we were trying to have a family get together and I wanted desperately to slap them both.

I think the only thing I can do is tell them the same thing I did when they were little.  “This is between the two of you, I don’t want to hear any more about it.”
