    • This was after we were married and before we had kids, we went to a restaurant/nightclub and we danced.  They served us breakfast after midnight and I distinctly remember dancing to “1999” by Prince because either it was 1999 or about to turn 1999.  There was a balloon drop and everything.  estatic

    • New Year’s Eve last year, being snowed in with my kids was pretty fun.  We drank and played cards and laughed a LOT.

New Year’s Eve my senior year of high school was pretty fun. My best friend got to have a party at his house.

    • This isn’t my best memory but it was my funniest.

My first husband and I stayed home on New Year’s because we didn’t want to be out driving. I’d made a special dinner to serve at midnight, usually lobster. We’d watch the Times Square festivities and open a bottle of champagne. One year I bought a bottled champagne cocktail to sip on while I was cooking. It was so strong it threw me for a loop. I never made dinner. I fell asleep on the couch, he had a sandwich and watched the festivities by himself with me just snoring away on the sofa.

We weren’t big drinkers so that little champagne cocktail hit me like a ton of bricks.

    • Our friends from many years ago had a New Years party and it was amazing...this goes back to 1990, and we danced, drank and were incredibly obnoxious, but fun!estaticestatic
