Q & A

What’s wrong with my ex? A couple of weeks ago it was my daughter’s 20th birthday, and her dad just sent her a greeting on facebook. She says a card would have been nice. She sent him and his wife a Christmas card, but she received absolutely nothing! He used to be a caring dad, what happened to him?

    • A simple phone call or card would’ve been nice.  Technology seems to make some people think it’s okay just to use the internet and it is for people who don’t have another way or aren’t your parents or children!!!

If he’s a nice guy give him the benefit of the doubt thinking he thinks in this day and age it’s okay. Some people do!

If he’s not a nice guy or even if he is and you have any kind of relationship with him I’d tell him she was hurt.

If he’s just a jerk then I’m sorry for her and your daughter will just have to get to know him for who he has become.

Sorry your daughter has to go through that but just keep being a good mom and make her smile.  You are only responsible for your actions as much as it hurts to see her sad.  Be who you are and let her know how much you love her!

    • Thank you Marie and Marion for your response.

Marie - I agree it’s his loss in the long run.

Marion - I appreciate your explanation. Sadly, my daughter and I will have to accept him for who he has become.
