As with pillows—- I used to. I have quite a few afgans and I would change them seasonally. An afgan along the back of the sofa also helped keep the upholstery from fading, but it’s old enough now, I don’t care anymore.
Now, I just keep the one I use on the back of my chair where the dogs can’t lay on it.

throws are inexpensive and i use them to cover my old furniture. different colour scheme new look.
Yes! I use my red one for decor purposes as well as lounging on the sofa.

I just throw them... I love draping them over the rocking recliner in the living room and the couch and when the kids were little they all had throws on their beds...nothing that ever matched, just complemented. usually something fringy.
I do like throws. But right now I’m waiting to get some covers for my couches and then buy some throws to add color and pillows.
I do use throws.... On my ottoman, window seats, chairs, beds...... I use them for decorative as well as warmth.

I keep them folded on the bed, but I usually throw them on myself, when I need something lighter than a blanket and heavier than a flannel shirt.
I enjoy using throws on chairs, sofas and beds for their decorative touch and texture. Their warmth is an welcome feature!
