Hello Butterflyrose, here is my table and its daily setting I love having my table set on a regular basis.

I don’t because of dust , i would feel the need to clean it everyday . My home has very clean lines .

Heres mine, I have 3 tables. the one in the back kitchen dining area is my fave. I love the color red, I have red thru out my kitchen. the second one is in my livingroom area. The 3rd one is the dining area in my livingroom. I have no idea what to do with that. I just write my letters and make out my bills on that table...lol
I might just get rid of the big table and maybe put a smaller one there. not sure yet.

I tried to keep my table set once but it just didn’t work out. My husband usually uses the table for his stuff.

I have a runner and candles on my dining room table but no plates or anything. My kitchen table has a large lace doily with a fruit bowl and whatever current magazines I have.
Neicy is that a butterfly attached to the little battery candles? Great idea!!!!

I usually just use table runners and place mats or a nice table cloth with a nice center piece
I wish I had a dining table, but at the moment our home is going through a transition with the renovation of the basement into rec room and we are sizing down. In time though, hopefully I will make some changes in the dining room and add a small table and chair set.
I do have a pic of my little kitchen island that hub and I gather around when we cook and have a glass of wine.
Mary, your island is perfect for 2! I’m sure you and your hubby have memorable moments from cooking together. I love “couple activities“!

You ladies are amazing ~ lovely style you all have!! I’m in rural Montana...I was thinking of whipping up a burlap runner of sorts! Ultra Fat ric rac...maybe use a burlap potato sack! What a clash against your the shiny samples here!!

@Vikki those are lit butterflies I got from T.J Maxx a few years ago and my g-baby will not let us sit at the table without lighting them up lol.
