Q & A

Has anyone here ever purchased a pair of the Tieks ballet shoes? The cheapest price I’ve seen was $155.00 I have some very expensive shoes etc... but I just can’t see paying this much for a pair of flat ballerina slippers. What’s your take on them?

    • I have never heard of them. So I went and checked them out. Thy look nice. Since I am used to wearing heels it’s hard for me to wear flats but I have been looking.
Some of the clothes at work will look better with flats. So I have been looking at Cole Hahn flats. They have gotten great reviews. And they are pricy too!!!
      My search continues.......

    • I would pay that much for a good pair of shoes if they offered some support and were made of good quality materials.

    • Consider the amount of wear you’ll get, style and durability vs the cost, also; do you really love them?  If your answers are favorable, they very well may be worth the purchase price.

    • I own three of the basic colors - Matte Black, Red and Cream. They are such huge wardrobe staples for me I literally don’t know what I’d do w/o them. Definitely worth the price if that’s what’s holding you back because mine have lasted (and still are in close to perfect condition) for 2 years already. All of the cheaper versions (like the gap one and even the tory burch eddi flat) start to wear through after like a month. And their customer service is so great, so if you don’t get the right size, they send you the new one for free w a free return label for your other pair. I’m seriously obsessed with this company.

    • Investigate a company named Ahnu, they have cute and comfy shoes.  However, if you find something you like, you can likely get a better price on their products through Amazon.
